I am entering the second year of my MPH program at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health with focuses in community health sciences and maternal and child health.. My major research interests include disability studies, reproductive health for adolescents and young adults, and language and communication barriers particularly those found in individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. My interests in these fields have been longstanding, and I have experience working and volunteering with children with disabilities of all ages. I have worked as a research assistant, disability studies research fellow, and medical assistant throughout my undergraduate and graduate education. These experiences paired with my own lived experience as a woman with disabilities inspired my goal of becoming a physician.

This website is built to catalogue my personal and professional journey in the field of public health, as well as to provide valuable contributions to the field of disability studies by combining humanities-based literary analysis with qualitative and quantitative research skills from the sciences. Past and current projects will be represented alongside blog posts analyzing popular media such as books, movies, and music.
